TOGAF Exam Information
The TOGAF exams are administered by The Open Group at a Pearson Vue test centre or online at home or the office with OnVUE Online Proctoring from Pearson VUE.
Participants will be provided with an official exam voucher (valid for 12 months) at the end of the course to complete the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Combined Exam (ODEA-103).
Exam Details:
- The duration of the combined exam is 2.5 hours.
- It contains 48 exam items.
- Only section 2 of the combined exam is Open Book
- The material is provided with the exam
Combined exam details: A Combined Part 1 and Part 2 exam only leads to Level 2 certification.
- The exam consists of two sections, with pass marks as per the Part 1 and Part 2 examinations.
- You must pass each section in order to obtain an overall pass mark.
- If you fail a section then no certification is awarded, however you only need retake the examination(s) corresponding to the failed section(s).
- For example, if you fail Part 2 of the Combined Part 1 and Part 2 exam, you would only need to retake the Part 2 exam.
- In all cases, you will need to wait at least one month before you are allowed to retake an examination.
Certificates: Certificates are available once certification has been completed and are available in electronic form only (PDF).
Applied TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner Badge
Participants who earn the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner certification and successfully complete the Learning Studies component—delivered as part of our accredited course—are eligible to receive the Applied Practitioner digital badge issued by The Open Group.
How to Receive Your Applied Practitioner Badge
To obtain your badge, you must:
- Pass the TOGAF® EA – Practitioner exam, and
- Complete the Learning Studies exercises included in the course.
Once both requirements are met, we will submit your Candidate ID to The Open Group to verify your eligibility and issue the badge.
Important: You must be registered with The Open Group before we can process your badge request.
